Welcome to Daria Erastova who recently joined Forest & Bird’s Te Hoiere Pekapeka/Bat Recovery Project as manager.
An ecologist, Daria brings experience in animal and plant pest control, biomonitoring and supporting landowners and volunteers with riparian planting. She previously worked for Pest Free Howick Ward then managing Forest & Bird’s South-East Wildlink project.
Outside of work, Daria enjoys fashion and arts, loves tramping and is an avid birdwatcher.
Previous Pelorus Pekapeka Project Manager, Mandy Noffke, will continue her interest as Forest & Bird Manager, National Conservation Projects.
