About
Te Hoiere Project's vision and actions reflect over 400 individual voices and 1400 statements collected through a process of ‘planning by the community for the community’. It acknowledges the community of Te Hoiere as the custodians of their landscape, documents their aspirations for the future and the actions required to translate these into reality.
Through the Project, we work together to protect the interconnected land and waters of Te Hoiere from the mountains into the sea. Our approach seeks long-term environmental, cultural, social, and economic outcomes to benefit present and future generations to come.
