A virtual field trip to Te Hoiere/Pelorus
LEARNZ is a programme of free virtual field trips, helping students access the inaccessible across Aotearoa New Zealand.
In July 2021, LEARNZ took a field trip to Te Hoiere Awa and spoke to some of the people involved in the restoration work. They have put together some incredible videos telling the history of Te Hoiere/Pelorus, what makes it special to the people who live, work and play here, and local efforts to restore, protect and promote this unique landscape.
